The events included family nights at Center Grove November 5, Ironia November 7 and Fernbrook November 6 where students and their parents engaged in a variety of fun activities including a potluck dinner and Makerspace fun at Ironia, making penny boats and dive into reading activities at Fernbrook and building rockets and creating their own music at Center Grove. Center Grove also hosted a special night for preschool parents. Shongum Principal Cliff Burns invited parents for a “Principal Chat and Chew” to talk about different issues at the school.
Randolph High School’s Tomorrows Teachers invited parents to a coffee and building tour on Nov. 14. Randolph Middle School honored veterans at a community event November 7, hosted school safety and security discussions and highlighted good character traits November 12-16.
At its October business meeting, the Randolph Board of Education approved a resolution celebrating American Education Week in November. All six district schools celebrated with special events.
