RE/MAX Heritage Properties Welcomes New Agent

MOUNT OLIVE TWP. (June 11, 2016) – Peter King, who spent 18 years helping individuals finding housing in assisted, independent living and retirement communities, has joined RE/MAX Heritage Properties in Mt. Olive Township as its newest agent.

Previously working in retail management, he says his past customer relations-based experiences have given him a skill that is key to a successful real estate career: The ability to listen.

“There is a reason that God gave us two ears and only one mouth,” he said. He uses his ability to listen to determine his customers’ desires and find the absolute best fit to meet their needs.

While certainly not limited to, King can be particularly beneficial to those clients who are either elderly or have children of elderly parents looking to sell a home, as he has a great deal of experience in dealing with senior citizens in need of living changes.

Raised in Boonton, King, former president of the Mt. Olive Area Chamber of Commerce and a current board member, has called Northwest New Jersey home his entire life and chose to stay in the area to raise his three children. He and his family have lived in Rockaway Township for 29 years.

“I am deeply thankful for all those I have met through the years in Morris, Sussex and Warren counties,” he said, crediting the professional ties and friendships he has made over the years as forming who he is as a person.
In addition to his career, King keeps active in the business and service community. He has actively participated in the Mt. Olive, Sussex and Morris county, and Tri-Town Chambers of Commerce, several Caregivers Coalitions, and United Way of Northern New Jersey, among other committees and groups. He is also an active member of his church.
