Roxbury High School Senior Evan Vazquez was recognized as a National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete at the 2th Annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Dinner at the Madison Hotel in Morristown on Thurs. March 28.
The criteria for the Scholar-Athlete Award, as established by the National Awards Committee, are academic achievement, school and civic leadership and football ability.
Roxbury Athletic Director, Stu Mason shared “Evan deserves this award not only for these achievements but also for the example he set for the young men who follow him.”
The event was sponsored by the Greater Morris County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame and Atlantic Sports Health.
