The Washington Township Recreation Department has made arrangements with Santa Claus to accept mail for delivery to the North Pole.
Township youngsters are encouraged to write a letter to Santa, not with just a Christmas list, but with any achievements they may have accomplished. Parents may either place the letter in the red drop box at the Recreation Department or Public Library, or mail it to: Washington Township Recreation, 50 Rock Road, Long Valley, N.J., 07853, Attn: Santa Claus.
All letters should include the child’s first and last name, age and complete return address so that a response can be mailed to them.  Letters must be in the recreation office on Dec. 14, in order for a response to be mailed out.  Youngsters will receive a personalized reply from Santa by Christmas. For more information, call (908) 876-5941 or email recreation@wtmorris.net.
