On Wed., July 13th, the Washington Township Public Library is planning to offer Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.” This Next Stage Ensemble production is co-sponsored by the Long Valley Women’s Club. One of Shakespeare’s comedies, “Twelfth Night” centers on the events that befall two twins, Viola and Sebastian, after they are separated in a shipwreck.
The play is offered as part of the library’s Adult Summer Reading Club, which is currently in full swing. The club offers town residents a chance to read books, attend programs, and complete puzzles, with each activity counting as an entry into weekly and grand-prize drawings. This year’s prizes include t-shirts, water bottles, tote-bags, gift certificates, and a grand prize Fitbit Flex. Those who have not yet registered for the Adult Summer Reading Club are still welcome to sign up.
“Twelfth Night” starts at 7:00 PM, on Wed., July 13th and is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend. To register, visit wtpl.org or call the library at 908-876-3596.
