Dr. Richard Veit will present the program, “Envisioning New Jersey – A New (Visual) History of the Garden State,” at the Mendham Borough Historical Society meeting Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Garabrant Center in Mendham Borough.
In this illustrated presentation, Veit speaks to the numerous images and carefully selected case studies to illustrate N.J.’s story.
The recipient of Monmouth University’s distinguished teacher award, professor of anthropology, chair of the History/Anthropology Department, author and co-author of numerous articles, reviews and eight books about N.J., Veit is a regular presenter at historical events.
The Pubic Scholars Project is funded by the N.J. Council for the Humanities. The program and parking are both free.
