Springfest Of Music Sees Out April, Brings In May

This year’s Springfest of Music, presented by the Warren County Community Singers will be the weekend that ushers out April and welcomes in May.

The first concert is set for Sat., April 30, at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, in Phillipsburg. The second will be Sun., May 1, at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Washington.

The singers are a non-audition group of adults, high school age and above, from all around the county and its environs. They are directed by Hunter Chadeayne. Associate Director/Accompanist is Ann Hoyt.

The concert also features the Children’s Chorus of Warren County under the direction of Mariah Thomspon. Laura Rader is accompanist. The children are age seven through middle school age with unchanged voices.

Springfest features show tunes, popular music and other genres.

Community Singers do two concerts a year, in the spring and the first weekend in December, and also perform at other venues throughout the year. New members will be accepted for the fall semester in early September. The Children’s Chorus is sponsored by the Singers. Fund comes, in part, from the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
