The Mendham Borough Library has a summer filled with great programs for both kids and adults.
Adult Summer Reading Program
Exercise the mind and read! Our adult summer reading program is a great time to celebrate and explore mind expanding literature. Read or listen to any book and enter each week for a chance to win. The program runs from through July 30. Two drawings will be held.
Adult Summer Coloring Event
Come to our Beach Party Adult Coloring event. Fun beach food and drinks will be served. Supplied will be the coloring pages and colored pens; participants bring the imagination. This event is limited to adults 21 years plus. Call the library at 973-543-4152 today to register
Kids’ Summer Programs at the Mendham Borough Library
New this summer, children attending any program must be registered for the Summer Reading Program. Make sure kids are part of the fun by signing them up today by calling 973—543–4152 or visiting www.mendhamboroughlibrary.org. Programs are open to all ages unless otherwise noted.
Sing-A-Long for toddlers Mon. July 11,18, & 25 at 10:30 a.m.
Craft Club Thurs.: June 30, July 7,21,& 28 at 2 p.m. Escape from the heat and learn some new, fun crafts at the library!
Exploring Artists Tues.: July 5, 19, & 26 at 2 p.m. Learn about the world’s best known artists’ lives and some of their techniques.
Pajama Storytime & Stuffed Animal Sleepover Wed., July 6 at 6 p.m. Come to the library for a pajama bedtime story hour a favorite stuffed animals. Animals can stay for a special sleepover adventure of their own!
Bagels & Books: Family Book Club Sat., July 9 & 23 at 10:30 a.m. Read The Miraculous Journey of EdwardTulane by Kate DeCamillo (July 9) and The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl (July 23) as a family and come to the library for bagels and a fun discussion. Books will be available at the library.
LEGO Club Mon., July 11 at 2 p.m. Build LEGO creations with friends.
