The Pompton Lakes Health Department, in conjunction with Chilton Medical Center, is offering a Stroke Prevention Screening on Saturday, May 4 th from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at the Pompton Lakes Municipal Building, 25 Lenox Avenue in Pompton Lakes. There is a $10 fee per participant and credit cards are not accepted. Space is limited and appointments are required.

This screening will help identify if you are at-risk for stroke and provide health education as to how to reduce your risk. The stroke prevention screening includes a blood cholesterol screening (which includes Total HDL), glucose level screening, blood pressure screening, pulse and BMI assessment and health education counseling. You can greatly reduce your risk of having a stroke through awareness and lifestyle changes. The health department and Chilton Medical Center encourage you to take this low-cost screening opportunity.
