Suburban Woman’s Club Announces October Yard of the Month

The Suburban Woman’s Club of Pompton Plains is pleased to announce the winner of the October 2019 Yard-Of-The-Month Award. Congratulations to Daniel and Dina Harper. The Harper’s, of 200 Mountain Avenue in Pompton Plains, are lifelong residents of Pequannock Township. They show their love for the community by demonstrating above average efforts in maintaining their property. The fall display is a harvest medley of assorted scarecrows, yard stakes, pumpkins, corn stalks, gourds and pumpkins attractively arranged in various settings.  

The Suburban Woman’s Club of Pompton Plains is part of the New Jersey State Federation of Woman’s Clubs, the largest volunteer women’s service organization in the state.  The Woman’s Club meets at 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of the month, October – June in Friendship Hall at the First Reformed Church, 529 Newark Pompton Turnpike in Pompton Plains.
