The Chester Lions Club will present their annual Oktoberfest

A weekend of fun and enjoyment is fast approaching.  The Chester Lions Club will present
their annual Oktoberfest for the 21st year.  Located at Chubb Park, festivities will take place on September 28th and 29th.  Two days of frivolity.
     Among the many activities offered will be a spirited German band that will perform throughout the two day event.  Dance music and familiar tunes will fill the air.  Entertaining
melodies will be heard under our large circus tent.
     One of the most anticipated aspects of the Oktoberfest are the Classic Cars.  The memorable collection will include classics, muscle, modified and customized vehicles and

     In addition to the Car Show the Chester Lions Clubs food tent will present a delicious selection of German foods.  The food and drink will include bratwurst, smoked pork chops, German potato salad, potato pancakes, strudel, beehive cake, funnel cakes and much more, designed to please the most demanding pallet.
     The most important aspect of any Oktoberfest is the Beer.  Specially brewed beer will be available for the thirsty.  Numerous choices will be available as well as birch beer for youngsters.
     The family event will also feature games and rides for children of all ages, bouncers, slides, spin art, sand art  and other activities that everyone will enjoy.
     Located at Chubb Park, 1 mile west of the junction of Route 206 and Route 24  in Chester, NJ, the Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest is a fund raiser for the Chester Lions Club Charitable Foundation.  All proceeds are donated to charity. The gates open at noon, busses are welcome.  Admission is $7.00 for adults, children 13 and under are free.  Parking is also free.
