On Wed., July 27, at 7:45 p.m., the DEPRESSION AND BIPOLAR SUPPORT ALLIANCE plans to feature at its monthly educational meeting a panel of people living with mood disorders who will tell of their struggles and their successes — what it was like, how it got better and what it is like now. The DBSA Morristown Area support group for people with depression and/or bipolar disorder also plans to meet Wed., Aug., 31, at 7:30 p.m. at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship in Morristown. Family and friends also are a priority and each week there will be an opportunity for learning and growth.
Therapist Suruchi Saini will talk on “A story of resilience.” She will share few experiences from her life journey which made her who she is today. She is also going to share tips to manage anxiety, mood swings and depression taken from psychology, neurosciences & yoga philosophy.
Suggested donation for nonmembers for lectures: $4 each or $7 per family. Peer support groups meet every Tuesday from 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Every week is also a group for Young Adults ages 18-25.
