Troop 236 Supports Washington Township Clean-up

On Saturday, October 12, fifteen members of Long Valley Troop 236, took part in the Washington Township semi-annual town clean-up event. The Troop members collected seven bags of recyclables, four bags of trash and miscellaneous items such as sign posts from the stretch of Reservoir Road running from Route 46 to Mission Road in Long Valley. The Troop, as part of its continuing community service commitment, participates in two clean-up events each year. This event each fall and the Raritan headwaters river clean-up working in conjunction with the Raritan Headwaters Association each spring.
