The annual Turning Leaves Benefit for Preschool Advantage will support early education for children in Morris and Somerset counties. It is set for Thurs., Oct. 20, at 6 p.m., at the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel in Florham Park.
Preschool Advantage is a Morristown non-profit organization that partners with preschools in several areas such as Budd Lake,Madison, Mendham, Morristown, and Morris Plains. Long-term supporter PNC will be honored this year and special recognition will be given to The Shelley Kutikoff Fund, the family of Shelley Kutikoff and Rainbow Montessori School of Madison. Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a sit-down dinner, plus a silent auction filled with unique prizes to inspire spirited bidding. Tickets are $200 and registration is now open for sponsorships and tickets. Turning Leaves is a key source of funding for Preschool Advantage student tuitions.
Preschool Advantage provides children of local families in need with the foundation for a lifetime of successful learning by funding quality preschool education. Universal preschool is not available in New Jersey. Disadvantaged families cannot afford to pay for their children to attend quality preschool and they arrive at kindergarten with a significant achievement gap in knowledge, vocabulary and social skills.
