Hopatcong students Jennifer Coulman (Trumpet, Senior) and Teresa Turnage (Trombone, Junior) auditioned for and were accepted to the North Jersey Area Band on December 8 at Wayne Hills High School. They competed with 400 students from 39 high schools from Sussex, Morris and Essex Counties. The students will attended five intense rehearsals to work on challenging literature, and then performed a concert at Mt. Olive High School on Saturday, January 12.
