The United Way Caregivers Coalition will hold its fifth annual conference in Warren County on Sept. 22 in the Merrill Creek Visitor’s Center, Washington.
The free event is exclusively for caregivers and is filled with presentations that will provide critical information to them. It also will offer opportunity for caregivers to connect with one another.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature workshops including: How Assistive Technology Can Assist Caregivers, presented by Dr. Brian Friedlander of Assistive Tek, LLC; A Holistic Approach to Health and Wellness, presented by Lana Shanahan, nurse/dietician; Self-Care for Caregivers, presented by John Niec, former caregiver and mindfulness educator.
