Xtreme Volleyball Academy in Ledgewood is inviting boys and girls in grades five to ten, a six week volleyball clinic, Sat., 9 a.m.-10 a.m., Nov. 12 – Dec. 17.
Cost is $80 per player.
As part of a Girl Scout Gold Award Leadership Project, together with Xtreme Volleyball Academy, a clinic is being offered for boys and girls with special needs for those ages 10-15.
This program is designed to provide athletic opportunities for children with special needs. Playing sports can instill confidence, team work, and good sportsmanship for any child. The program will include fun games and activities which will help instruct the participants in the basics of volleyball. The instructors will be provided with training on the specific disabilities and modifications will be made to help the participants feel comfortable.
