Washington Township Recreation Dept. along with “Fashion First Workshops” is presenting the first fashion sewing program in the community.  Don’t miss the opportunity to explore fashion and learn the fundamentals of sewing skills through the amazing and talented Renee Nesbitt-Baird.  Renee is a graduate of “Parsons School of Design” and one of the winners of the “Children’s Wear Award” for JC Penney.  She will assist the students from choosing their fabric, designing and sketching their design, measuring their silhouette, to finishing up with a final fitting leading to a fashion show on the last day.

The Workshops are scheduled for Grades 2-5 from 4:30-5:30 pm, and Grades 6-12 from 5:45-6:45 pm on Wednesdays beginning February 13 th  through March 20 th , 2019 at Long Valley Teen Arts Center, Long Valley, NJ.  A non-refundable fee of $135 is due before February 8, 2019.
