Alex Edelman, a New York-based, Boston-raised comedian, will be featured at this year’s Temple Shalom Comedy Night, scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 11.
Edelman is an internationally recognized stand-up comedian who has performed in places such as London, Australia, New York, Los Angeles and Sweden. His comedy focuses on the world around him, being a millennial and his upbringing in Boston as an Orthodox Jew. Edelman has a serious side as well. He has published articles about millennials in The Guardian, The Atlantic and other publications.

The show is open to the public. Sponsored by the Temple Shalom Brotherhood, doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the door and include appetizers, wine, beer and dessert. Guests must be 21 to attend. Babysitting is available.
