The Ayres/Knuth Farm Foundation, Inc of Denville thanks the volunteers and members who came out to help with the successful Annual Tree and Wreath Sale starting on Thanksgiving Weekend. The Foundation successfully adapted to the COVID-19 precautions while still offering fresh trees and smiles behind the masks! Using a new arrangement that allowed socially distant payments and a new setup at the Union Hill Farms Stand, the 22nd annual sale. Most of all, the Foundation wishes to thank the loyal customers who come every year and the new ones who came for the first time this year. They found trees, wreaths, roping, firewood, and produce waiting for them. Some customers asked for delivery, but some even carried their own trees home without a vehicle!
The Ayres/Knuth Farm Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. The Tree Sale is the only fundraiser of the year; proceeds are used to support its mission, the preservation and restoration of the Farm buildings and property. This working farm, operated continuously since first settled, is one of the most complete examples of a 19th century agricultural complex in Morris County.
The Foundation looks forward to seeing the loyal volunteers and customers again in 2021.
