Bracelet Raffled Through Local Church To Support Charities

Just in time for the holidays, the St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society – the philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox church of St. Andrew – is offering a truly special raffle limited to 200 tickets to win a stunning Tiffany Olive Branch Cuff Bracelet, valued at $1,175.

With a limited sale of 200 tickets at just $20 each, the odds are quite favorable for buyers of an individual ticket.

According to Philoptochos President Petra Knox, “You can’t get these odds from a lottery ticket, and the proceeds will be used to do good works.”

The Ladies of Philoptochos (https://philoptochos.org/) nationally, through dozens of local chapters, supports dozens of charities throughout the year with a wide range of fundraisers. The mission of the organization is “to promote charitable, benevolent and philanthropic outreach to preserve the sanctity of life and family and to perpetuate and promote our Orthodox faith and traditions.”

Some initiatives supported by the work of Philoptochos members include Autism Fund, Children’s Medical Fund, Emergency Fund, National General Medical Fund
International Orthodox Christian Charities, National Sisterhood of Presvyteres Benevolent Fund, Orthodox Christian Fellowship, Retired Clergy and Widowed Presbyteras Benevolent Fund, 75th Anniversary Founders Fund, Social Services/Cancer and Other Major Illnesses Fund and United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund.

More than 27,000 members comprise the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society in the U.S., the philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Philoptochos addresses individual and widespread needs and crises, while its philanthropic outreach extends throughout the world.
