Celebrate the holiday season when the Caldwell University Music Department presents its annual Christmas Spectacular concert 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 8 in the Student Center Auditorium.
The University Chorale, directed by Laura Greenwald and accompanied by Warren Helms, will perform seasonal favorites including the lovely “O Magnum Mysterium” by Victoria, the joyful “Carol of the Bells” and Darmon Meador’s jazzy “We Three Kings.”
The wind ensemble, conducted by Rebecca Vega, will feature 55 high school honor band students from James Caldwell, Cedar Grove, Columbia, Morris Knolls, Nutley, Summit, Tottenville, Verona, Waldwick, Wayne Hills and West Essex high schools. They will perform Chorale and Shaker Dance, The Eighth Candle, Childhood Remembered, Ukrainian Bell Carol, Greensleeves, and Sleigh Ride.
General Admission is $10. Tickets will be available at the door. Student admission is free.
