Caldwell University staff and faculty gathered for drive by welcome greetings for its new president, Dr. Matthew Whelan.   President Whelan assumed the presidency on July 1.  A native New Jerseyan, who grew up in Denville, Dr. Whelan is the first male lay president in the university’s history.
