“Caldwell Day is a wonderful day when our Caldwell community comes together to live out the Dominican pillar of service and celebrate the witness of St. Martin de Porres, a Dominican saint, who modeled a life of service and love to all he encountered,” said Colleen O’Brien, director of campus ministry at Caldwell. “This is not just a part of our call in being a Dominican university, but we also heed the call of Pope Francis in the way he encourages people of faith to go out and offer service and mercy to a world in need. Caldwell Day is an opportunity for us to put that into action.”
