The Chester Lioness Club plans to meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 3, in the Lamplighter Restaurant in Chester. The topic for discussion this evening will be “Frauds Perpetrated on The Elderly.”
The discussion will be led by Det./Cpl. Anthony Da Cunza and Det. Shaun Horst from the local police departments. DaCunza has been working with the Chester Township Police Department for the past seven years, and has more than 11 years of law enforcement experience. Horst has been with the Chester Borough Police Dept. for the past three years, and has also had more than 11 years of law enforcement experience.
Both DaCunza and Horst enjoy speaking to community groups to create awareness of the ongoing trends in fraud and identity theft as well as provide the necessary tools for citizens to combat these crimes.
