The Livingston Public Library plans to host Corey Rosen Schwartz, author of “Three Ninja Pigs” on Tues., Dec. 6, 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

In celebration of National Ninja Day, author Schwartz will discuss where ideas come from and share the story behind “The Three Ninja Pigs.” She will then read her fractured fairy tale as students role play along with her. Next, Master Kyle Freeman will teach the students some martial arts moves, emphasizing the importance of respect, discipline, perseverance and self-confidence.

The program is recommended for grades kindergarten through second.
