The Washington Township Recreation and Police Departments are offering an American Heart Association; CPR/AED Course for the adult community on May 21, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There is a $5 non-refundable fee due for the class. The fee offsets the cost to help utilize and maintain the equipment used in the class.
The class will be instructed by Cpl. Falleni and Officer Barnes at the WT Police Headquarters in Long Valley.
They will be teaching adult and child CPR/AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice while watching the technique, which allows instructors to observe and guide the students and provide feedback.
Optionally, one may receive a certification card from the American Heart Association after a $20 payment to the Saint Claire’s Training Center as a processing fee.
Limited space is available so registration is required before May 16. To register for this course, go to WTmorris.org, call the Recreation Department at 908-876-5941 or email email@example.com.
