Cyber security isn’t just a big business concern. Small to medium sized businesses are just as much a target for hackers as the “big guys.”

The topic of this month’s Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce Lunch & Learn tackles this very important issue. The Tues., Nov. 22 Lunch ‘N Learn is scheduled for Enzo Pizza and Restaurant starting at 11:45 a.m.  

The Mt. Olive Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present Richard McElroy, owner of The Genusys Group in Clinton.  McElroy will be speaking on the very important topic of Cyber Security and the Small/Medium Business specifically. He will touch on the following topics.  Current Cyber Threat Landscape: Overview, Types of Cyber attacks, and Why Hackers Are Increasingly Targeting The SMB, Basic Security Solutions: Firewalls, Encryption, Backup/Disaster Recovery, and Password Security and Cyber Security Best Practices.

This is one of several of the Chamber’s regular events each month. Marketing in the Morning, a complimentary benefit to members of the Chamber, takes place the third Wednesday morning of every month from 7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. There is a $10 fee but it is complimentary to members of the chamber.
