Free Gardening Discussions At Laurelwood Arboretum

On Thursday, Aug. 24, at 2:30 p.m., Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum will host Gardeners’ Journal, another gathering in a series of monthly discussions on interesting and timely gardening topics.

The discussions, which are free and open to the public, will take place at the Knippenberg Center for Education, Laurelwood Arboretum, Wayne. Journal meetings may be eligible for Master Gardener credits. The Gardeners’ Journal is held the fourth Thursday of each month at 2:30 p.m. from April through October. No membership or subscription required to attend.

Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum is the nonprofit organization that helps preserve and manage the 30-acre property in partnership with Wayne Township. FOLA welcomes new members, volunteers, school groups, students, scouts and people with special skills who would like to be part of this organization.
