According to Mayor Keith Kazmark, there may in fact be no one who has ever made more of a mark on West Paterson/Woodland Park than George Galbraith. April 30 was George’s last day before retirement. He has spent 47 years with the Borough Department of Public Works, leading the department through storms, floods, sewer and water breaks, major infrastructure projects and new developments. Mayor Kazmark noted that if you took the institutional knowledge of all Borough officials and added it up, collectively, they still wouldn’t match what George knows about our town. We are grateful for him and his service. Words cannot accurately express his contributions to the Borough.
