Girls Scouts Collect News Toys And Games For Hospitalized Children

Girl Scout Troop 20015 at the Washington School in Millburn is collecting new toys and games for kids aged 1-15 at Children’s Hospital of NJ at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. Collection bins are located in the lobby at Washington School, or purchase a new toy or game online and ship to: Girl Scout Troop 20015, 52 Slayton Drive, Short Hills, N.J., 07078.
Some toys and games suggestions include:  fat crayons, toy telephones, board books, Legos, puzzles, nerf balls, squeeze balls, Playdoh, Barbie dolls and clothing, craft kits, board games, crossword puzzles, action figures, art supplies, playing cards, lip gloss and nail polish and diaries.
The hospital uses the toys and gifts in their recreation room and keeps a gift closet so nurses can provide gifts to children on birthdays, holidays and treatment days.
The collection is through March 2.
