Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey will be hosting an information and membership recruitment event set for Tues., Nov. 29, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Morris County Public Library in Whippany, for girls in the Morristown/Morris Township area.

Girls in grades K-12 and adults interested in learning more about the Girl Scout Movement, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and Volunteer Opportunities should attend, and can sign up to join during the event. New troops are being formed and existing troops are currently seeking additional members.

We’re celebrating such milestones as our 100^thAnniversary of the Girl Scout Gold Award; 100 years of cookie sales; our partnership with Disney on our Princess Elena of Avalor Leadership Guide for Girls and affiliated scholarships; our new S’mores Girl Scout Cookie flavor; and our upcoming Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade float, to name a few.
