Help Raise Money To Conquer Colon Cancer At Upcoming 5K

March Fourth 5K Run/Walk in memory of Millburn mom Joana Dranikoff is set for March 4, 10 a.m. to noon, at the South Mountain Dog Park in Maplewood. Come help support the Colon Cancer Alliance and the March Fourth Foundation by just walking, running or donating.
On March 4, 2016, Dranikoff died of colon cancer along with 50,000 other people who also died that year from colon cancer and even a greater number in 2017.
“When my mom was alive she told us that we had to keep going – and it was fitting that she died on March Fourth since that is what she wanted us to do – to March Forth,” says her son Jeremy Dranikoff. “So this year, on March Fourth 2018 we are holding our first annual run to raise money for Colon Cancer Prevention. All of the money we raise will get donated to the Colon Cancer Alliance and the March Fourth Foundation. Our goal is to save 100,000 lives over the next ten years and we can do it. Colon Cancer is one of the most deadly cancers known and yet, it is also one of the most preventable. With your registration and/or donation to this race, we come one step closer to achieving our goal.”
All of the money raised for the March Fourth 5K Run/Walk will be allocated to the Colon Cancer Alliance and the March Fourth Foundation.
Contact the race director at Jeremydranikoff@gmail.com for more information or visit https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Maplewood/MarchForth to sign up. Registration ends March 1.
