Create a mini backyard paradise. Join Rutgers Master Gardener Gail Di Domenico at the Roxbury Public Library on Mon., July 10, at 6:30 p.m., to learn what is required to attract butterflies; a variety of birds including hummingbirds, bees, dragonflies; and other interesting pollinators and wildlife. Find out what trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals these creatures like and what those plants require for success in the garden. Help to restore native habitats and the environment while benefiting from beautiful plants and creatures in the yard. Handouts will include lists, plants, and resources for further information. Registration is requested. To register, call the library at 973-584-2400 ext. 501 or e-mail comments@roxburylibrary.org.
