The Museum of Trades and Crafts will hold a hands-on container garden workshop June 14 for adults in its Madison museum.
Participants will build a beautiful and functional herb container garden that will provide fresh herbs throughout the growing season.
Beth Riley will instruct on gardening basics, including light, soil, feeding requirements, choosing containers and planning future herb container gardens. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Each student must bring his or her own gardening gloves and container with drainage. Containers should be 18 to 20 inches high with a mouth opening not larger than 18 to 20 inches.
