Ever want to take a fitness class but are unsure about it? Washington Township Recreation is offering an opportunity to meet the fitness instructors and try a class for free.
In lieu of payment for the classes, the town is asking each participant to bring an item for the food pantry at the time of sign up or on the day the class meets.
For serious registrants, the exercise classes are as follows:
Circuit Craze: Nov. 26, 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Focus Fitness: Nov. 27, 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Low Impact Strength and Cardio: Nov. 28, 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Let’s Move w/Cardio Dance: Dec. 4, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Teen Yoga: Nov. 26, 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., ages 13 to 17.
Girls Rock Yoga: Dec. 3, 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. for ages 8 to 12.
Beginning/intermediate Yoga: Dec. 12, 9 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Gentle Mat Yoga: Dec. 12, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Chair Yoga: Dec. 13, 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Mixed Level Mat Yoga: Dec. 13, 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All classes are scheduled to be held at the Washington Township Senior Center in Rock Spring Park. The Teen Yoga Class will be held at the Long Valley Teen Arts Center, Long Valley.
