NCJW Essex Announces Late Summer Events

The National Council for Jewish Women/Essex County has a host of events planned for late summer.

The council’s Back 2 School Store is set to take place on July 30. This one-day annual event enables economically disadvantaged children of Essex County to “shop” for free for brand-new clothing, sneakers and school supplies in a one-day-only “store.” Sign up now for this rewarding opportunity and make a difference in the life of a child.

All registration is online.

Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Treatments will be explained by Dr. Barry Citron, plastic surgeon on July 18 from 7:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants will discuss the latest cosmetic and surgical treatments to look younger. They will learn what to expect from cosmetic treatments and have questions answered.

NCJW/Essex has a unique way to pay tribute to the women who have inspired others. It’s called “The Butterfly Project: Together We Soar.’’ Anyone can make a donation to honor them by purchasing beautiful glass nameplates and help build a colorful butterfly.
