Hackettstown Historical Society plans to meet Tues., Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the American Legion in Hackettstown.

The topic of the meeting will center on The Garden State: Where Ideas Grow! Author: Linda J. Barth of  “A History of Inventing in New Jersey: From Thomas Edison to the Ice Cream Cone” will explore some of the groundbreaking, useful, fun and even silly inventions and their New Jersey Roots.

Free and open to the Public. Refreshments will follow.
