Opera at Florham will open its 35th Season on Sun., Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. in Lenfell Hall on Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus in Madison.
The Musicale features a variety of famous Verdi opera arias as well as those from other composers that were influenced by Verdi, plus Broadway songs.

They will be accompanied by Mary Pinto, vice president of opera at Florham’s Board of Trustees and noted voice coach. Included are two arias from Verdi’s Don Carlo and three from Puccini’s operas. From the Broadway scene, there will be Maria from West Side Story and the Impossible Dream, Man of La Mancha, among others. The program will conclude its first segment with a trio from Act II of Tosca and its second segment with the trio Be My Love from The Toast of New Orleans.
