Three sixth-grade students from Lincoln/Roosevelt Elementary School were presented awards as the “My Favorite Book” essay contest winners last month at the Roxbury Public Library, Youth Services Department.

This event is sponsored each year by the Roxbury Women’s Club and the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs GFWC.

First place winner was Elliot Uhlman; second place winner, Jenna Waldron; third place winner, Diya Narayan.

Winners each received a Barnes and Noble gift card ranging from $15 to $25.
