Singer, pianist and songwriter, Stella Crispo, releases her latest track “The Best Christmas” and dedicates it to all those families whose loved ones in the Armed Forces are coming home for Christmas. “The Best Christmas” is about the joy that a family has knowing that their husband or wife will be with them. The song includes a bridge that departs from happiness to sympathy for those who are still waiting or are suffering from loss. The sound of children playing in the intro and outro bookends the song.
From the New York City area, Stella is a sought-after performer and has appeared in many prominent venues including Newark, New Jersey’s Performing Arts Center where she was invited to sing before Liza Minelli’s show and at New York’s B.B. King Club. An eclectic performer, Stella works as a soloist and with her band. She is also the founder and lead singer of “Heart Like A Wheel,” her tribute to Linda Ronstadt. “I am a classically-trained pop singer and wanting to master performing in different styles has definitely been influenced by Ronstadt’s greatness.”
A multi-talented singer and songwriter, Stella is followed not only for her voice but versatility and heart. Her songwriting includes pop ballads, pop/rock and Italian pop songs, and she’s able to sing anything from R&B to Opera. Stella wrote the anthem for an international anti-smoking campaign, has performed in Italy, was represented at the MIDEM in Cannes and has an open door to write for international singer, Laura Pausini. She has worked with heavy-weight coaches including Patricia Carey, Mariah’s mother, and Kathy Olsen of Encompass Arts in Manhattan.
With a catchy hook and Stella’s heart-felt lyrics, “The Best Christmas” is sure to become part of the holiday songlist.
