The Easter Bunny Comes To Madison

Madison’s annual Easter Fun Fest event is on its way!

The Madison Chamber of Commerce is preparing for the Easter Bunny to bring plenty of candy and toy-filled Easter eggs to the downtown businesses during its annual Easter Fun Fest event on Sat., April 8,  from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Children and their parents are invited to bring their Easter baskets and visit Chamber-member merchants in Madison in order to collect candy and toy-filled eggs.

The event is free of charge and is sponsored by Cleaners Advantage and Whole Foods Market.

“Whole Foods Market is always excited about participating in events that bring families together. We are really proud and enjoy supporting our local Madison Community,” said Margie West, marketing manager of Whole Foods Market.

Children can visit with the roaming Easter Bunny and enter to win a new bicycle donated by Peter Daniele, the proprietor of Rose City Collision.

There will also be a “Count the Jelly Beans” contest with additional prizes to be won.

“Cleaners Advantage looks forward to participating in Easter Fun Fest every year,” said owner Robbin Salmeri.  “As a family owned business, ‘giving back’ to the communities we serve, as well as excellent customer satisfaction, are our number one priorities! We look forward to distributing Easter goodies directly from one of our Delivery Dry Cleaning trucks to all the wonderful families that stroll through downtown Madison.”

Cleaners Advantage will be handing out Easter treats from their branded white truck and raffeling a chance to win free dry cleaning. Cleaners Advantage picks up and delivers dry cleaning to homes and businesses in Madison, Chatham, Florham Park, and the surrounding areas.

The Chamber of Commerce will raffle off special gifts provided by Madison businesses. The gifts will be displayed under the black Chamber tent on the corner of Waverly Pl. and Main St.

“This annual event brings more families to town each year. It’s become a Madison tradition and a welcomed event to kick off the spring season,” said Karen Giambra, executive director of the Chamber. “It’s fun for everyone involved.”

Chamber-member businesses will feature festive balloons on their doors to indicate their participation and hospitality.
