The annual Bazar de Noel presented by the Thursday Morning Club and held at the Madison Community House in Madison, plans to open its doors on Fri., Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sat., Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This event is the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds will provide operating funds for the Madison Community House. New vendors with exciting unique products as well as several “loyals” of the past will ensure that the perfect gifts for everyone will be available. The Patisserie will sell homemade cakes, pies, breads and cookies.
The club’s in-house Catering Committee will offer delicious soups which will be sold in two convenient sizes. A brown bag lunch will be available for purchase. A one-of-a-kind gift raffle will offer prizes of theater tickets, mall gift cards, bank cards and much sought after gift certificates to popular specialty venues. 50/50 tickets will be sold throughout the event. One lucky person will receive a fantastic door prize by just depositing his/her postcard into the receptacle at the door.
Among the variety of vendors, Secret Garden Soap, Nancy’s Jewelry, Renee Avril Chocolatieres and The Pink Pear are Madison exhibitors. Some exclusive displays by artisans from the surrounding area will include: Batter Junkies with healthy, edible cookie batter, Compassion Fashion offering organic, recycled, sustainable fair trade items, Touchtone Crystal by Sawarski selling jewelry, Felted wool mittens by KK’s, Jo Jo’s Bags and Things exhibiting an array of handbags and many other vendors.
