Children interested in singing with the Children’s Chorus of Warren County can join the group on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Presbyterian Church.
Warren County Community Singers started rehearsals on Tuesday, Sept. 5. The adult group sponsors the children’s chorus, which joins them in two concerts a year. The Winterfest of Music will be Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3.
The Children’s Chorus is made up of kids from age 7 through 8th grade, with unchanged voices. There is no audition required. Registration will continue each Tuesday in October at 6:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Washington. The registration fee is $25 per child, including music. A discount is available for families with more than one child participating.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church. The Saturday concert is at Grace Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg and the Sunday concert is at the Washington Presbyterian Church.
The Children’s Chorus is directed by Mariah Thompson. The accompanist is Laura Rader.
