The Washington Township Public Library is now accepting donations for the annual Book Sale, which will take place at the library May 11 through 13.
Donations being sought are books, both paperback and hard cover, for adults, young adults and children; CDs, both music and spoken word; DVDs, and electronic games.
Materials should be in good condition. We cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias or condensed books (such as Reader’s Digest collections), or obsolete technology, such as VHS tapes and audio cassettes.
The library is open to accept donations Mon. through Thurs. from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Fri. and Sat. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed on Sun. Do not leave donations outside the building when it is closed.
The book sale is a fund-raiser for Friends of Washington Township Public Library, a volunteer group that supports many library programs. There will be a special preview sale on May 10, from 5 to 9 p.m., for members of Friends of WTPL.
The library is located at 37 E. Springtown Road, Long Valley, near Rock Spring Park and the Washington Township Police Department. For more information, call 908-876-3596 or visit the library’s website, www.wtpl.org.
