On Oct. 16, Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone will serve as the backdrop for Homeless Solutions’ signature women’s charitable event — Women’s Day.
It has established a loyal following of attendees and Women’s Day celebrates a milestone of 10 years this year.
The Club will be filled with 200 women from Morris and Somerset County. They come together for a day filled with wellness while raising funds for homeless families. Attendees select a morning exercise of either golf, yoga, Pilates, a boxing circuit, 5K Run or a Power Walk. This is followed by a gourmet lunch, raffles and services from Depasquale the Spa.
Although it is a fun day, they will gather for a single purpose, to raise awareness about homelessness in Morris County. The specific fundraising focus is childcare. This is an expensive, yet critical need, which enables parents to work in order to save money and gain a life of independence.
Since inception, Women’s Day has raised over $200,000. Event sponsors include Amneal, Depasquale the Spa, First Energy Foundation, Janssen and Willis Towers Watson.
